Established in 1918, Renucci’s Bar & Restaurant is a fourth-generation, family-owned establishment and a cornerstone of the Ionia community. For more than a century, we have proudly operated under the same name and in the same location, preserving a legacy built on tradition, quality, and hospitality.

 

Founded by Italian immigrant Pietro Renucci, who arrived in Ionia in 1910, our business evolved from a service station and grocery store into a bar and restaurant following Prohibition. In 1958, Renucci’s further shaped local dining history by becoming the first establishment in the county to serve pizza.

 

 

Today, we continue serving the same family recipes and traditions that have been passed down for generations. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink, a classic pizza, or a great meal with friends and family, Renucci’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
